Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin recently secured the services of Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic on a second season-long loan deal.
The Serbia international was Jurgen Klopp’s first signing on Merseyside back in 2016 but has hardly featured under the German.
The 23-year-old played a vital role for Berlin last year, and according to Kicker, cited by This Is Anfield, the German outfit are hoping to land the player on a permanent basis next summer following his second season in the Bundesliga.

Berlin reportedly paid the Reds £2 million, which could include a further £500,000 in bonuses, for his services for the upcoming campaign, and it appears likely that Liverpool would be willing to sell the player in 12 months time.
The midfielder made the move to Anfield from Red Star Belgrade for £5 million, so the Reds could well be in line for a healthy profit on Grujic if he can enjoy another impressive loan spell.
