It’s set to be one of the biggest week of winger Jordon Ibe’s career to date.
After the 19-year-old signed a new, long-term deal with Liverpool and was called up to the England Under 20 squad that will compete in this year’s Toulon Tournament, managed by Aidy Boothroyd.
After missing out on a spot in the Under 21 squad for this summer’s European Championship, the winger will join James Wilson of Manchester United and Roland Aarons of Newcastle, according to the Daily Mail.
Ibe signed a new 5-year deal with Liverpool earlier today, rumoured to be worth around £35,000 per week.
The squad will be announced officially on Friday morning at 8:30am, with the manager due on TalkSPORT an hour later to discussion the selection.
