Arjen Robben has limped out of a Bayern Munich training session Wednesday, according to a TZ report (relayed by the Liverpool Echo).
The Dutchman is rumoured to be struggling with a calf issue, an ailment that could keep him out of Wednesday’s Champions League round-of-sixteen second leg with Liverpool.
With the tie finely poised after a tense 0-0 draw in the first leg, Robben had been suggested as the potential difference maker at the Allianz Arena, having a long history of excellence in European competition.
There was better injury news for the Bayern faithful however, as Leon Goretzka and Franck Ribery returned to training.

Selection problems will nonetheless be in the forefront of manager Niko Kovac’s mind however, with David Alaba, and Kingsley Coman struggling for fitness.
Defender Joshua Kimmich will miss the encounter through suspension, after picking up too many yellow cards to this point in the competition.
