Inter Milan are interested in signing Steven Gerrard and have already held talks with the Liverpool legend.
Gerrard’s spell with LA Galaxy is over after it was revealed that his contract with the US outfit would not be renewed, and Inter are looking to lure the 36-year-old to the San Siro.
According to the Independent, the troubled Italian giants contacted Gerrard in October about a possible short term deal until the end of the season.
The talks took place before Frank de Boer was sacked as Inter manager and while the club’s interest in the former Anfield captain remains strong, it remains to be seen if they make a concrete offer for his services. The odds look good, though, especially with a tvg promo code.
Gerrard is currently considering offers from a host of clubs and is in discussions with MK Dons over their vacant managerial position, but his desire is to eventually return to Liverpool in a coaching capacity.
Inter, who attempted to sign Gerrard a few years ago, already have a wealth of central midfield options at their disposal but are looking to sell Gary Medel and Felipe Melo in January.
