Jurgen Klopp hails £117m-rated ‘force of nature’ amid Liverpool transfer interest

Liverpool regularly finds themselves linked with some of the best players in world football.

Often a lot of the supposed interest is false with the Reds very conservative with how they spend their money.

Their transfer policy does not allow for big money moves like many of our rival clubs in the Premier League.

However, one player that has been linked is a real possibility given his age and potential.

The club has regularly been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.

Haaland has grown to become one of the most sought-after forwards in world football with Jurgen Klopp a huge admirer.

So much so, that the German recently spoke out about the club’s interest in the 21-year-old.

As cited by LFC Transfer Room below, Klopp referred to Haaland as a ‘force of nature’ when asked about their interest…

It is obvious that Klopp is a huge fan of the striker after his more than generous comments.

Haaland has caught the attention of almost every big club on the planet with Dortmund trying their best to keep him.

However, it is obvious that the German club cannot contain him forever and a substantial bid will soon arrive.

With a current market value of £117million, it is no secret that a deal for Haaland will need an astronomical fee.

Liverpool’s current record signing is Virgil van Dijk, who the Reds paid just over £76million for in 2018.

There is plenty of possibility of Haaland joining the Reds – he is clearly a player Klopp likes and fits the bill for age and potential.

The only thing in the club’s way is a fee but with their limited spending this summer, they could be planning a move.

Time will tell as to where Haaland may end up but it is exciting to think of him tearing it up at Anfield.
