Juventus concerned they could miss out on Emre Can

Italian giants Juventus are worried that they may miss out on signing Liverpool midfielder Emre Can this summer according to the Daily Mirror.

Juve have been long-term admirers of the player after following him for well over a year after the German failed to sign a new contract at Anfield.

It was reported that the Turin club had opened talks with the 24-year-old but they were told that he has got other options on where is future will lie.

Can played a part in the Red’s 1-0 defeat at Swansea last night and it appears as though he will be leaving at the end of the season but it’s difficult to see him staying at the club beyond the summer.

Juve general manager Beppe Marotta spoke about the situation of them bringing the German player to the club and how strong an interest they have in him at the moment.

For Emre Can, our interest is clear.

We want to try to bring him to us, but it is not certain we will succeed because at the moment he has a contract offer from Liverpool and could renew.

He went on to add that he believes that there are other teams interested in him saying.

Also, there are other teams interested in him.

The likes of Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid have all been credited with an interest in the midfielder this month.
