According to the Daily Star, Juventus’ general director will do everything possible to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.
Can’s future at Anfield has been in jeopardy ever since rumours of Naby Keita joining The Reds came to the surface, with many top European clubs being interested in the German’s services and Juve were one of the main suitors.
With the likes of Sami Khedira and Claudio Marchisio coming towards the back end of their careers, a young midfielder of the same vein like Can would be perfect for The Old Lady.

Juventus could get Can on a free transfer, which would be an absolute steal if Liverpool cannot pin the German down to a new contract, as his current deal runs out at the end of the season.
Giuseppe Marotta, the Juventus general director said
Emre Can is a player whose contract is running down, so it allows us to approach him for negotiations and that is the course we have taken.
I can’t say if he could sign a new contract with Liverpool, but I can say we will try all we can to get the player. Obviously, we have to respect what the player wants.
