Liverpool will face competition from Juventus in their pursuit of Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
According to reports in Italy, the Old Lady are keeping a watchful eye on the player’s situation in Naples, with contract talks rumbling on.
Napoli have been in talks to renew the player’s contract for some time, amid interest from top European sides.
However, it appears that a release clause in the new deal is proving to be a sticking point between the two points.

Previous reports have suggested Zielinski’s representatives wanted the clause set around the €80 million mark, while Napoli believe it should be much higher, at around €120 million.
The Polish midfielder has been a long-term target for Liverpool, who have tracked him since his days at Empoli.
Empoli’s president Fabrizio Corsi has even recently revealed that they were expecting the player to join Liverpool, not Napoli.
For Napoli, losing a player like Zielinski to Juventus would come as a huge blow given their current dominance in the league.
