Kent & Ward set for Football League debuts

Ryan Kent and Danny Ward are amongst five loanees set to make their debuts this weekend as the Football League season starts.

The duo, alongside Adam Bogdan, Ryan Fulton and Jack Dunn, have all sealed temporary moves away from Anfield this summer in a bid to find first-team football.

Kent, who impressed for Liverpool’s first-team during pre-season, is expected to start for Barnsley as they travel to Ipswich Town in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Danny Ward is also expected feature for Huddersfield Town as they host Brentford in the same division, whilst fellow stopper Adam Bogdan will hope to be given the nod for Wigan Athletic against Bristol City.

In League One, young goalkeeper Ryan Fulton will hope to be inbetween the sticks when Chesterfield travel to Oxford, and in League Two, Jack Dunn will be hoping for his debut as Morecambe travel to National League play-off winners Grimsby Town.
