Liverpool have confirmed that young Dutch defender Ki-Jana Hoever has signed a new long-term contract at the club.
As confirmed by the club, the Reds have been handed a major boost as they secure the future of one of their brightest young talents.
Hoever made his debut for the first team last season in a surprise appearance in the FA Cup against Wolves.

After joining the club from Ajax at a young age, Hoever has got fans excited about the years to come with a number of impressive performances at youth level.
He was thrusted into the action in the FA Cup against Wolves last season after Dejan Lovren was forced off through injury the opening minutes.
It was no problem for Hoever though, who looked composed beyond his years, despite the negative result on the night.
Hoever certainly has a fantastic tutor at the club already and he’ll be looking to learn from his fellow countryman Virgil van Dijk as he aims to step up to the first-team squad.
