Jurgen Klopp has confirmed a triple injury boost for Liverpool ahead of their game against Wolves on Sunday, with the Premier League title at stake.
The Liverpool boss has been dealing with a handful of injuries over the last few weeks, including the absence of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah and 16-goal forward Roberto Firmino during their Champions League tie with Barcelona.
It was in this game where Andy Robertson picked up a knock and had to be forced off, raising questions as to whether he would be available for the weekend.
In a pre-match press conference, as reported by the club’s official website, Klopp said:
The famous three words of this week in the dressing room: ‘It’s only pain.’ Very important for all the young lads to learn, I’ve said that already to the boys. Hendo said, ‘It’s only pain’, Robbo said, ‘It’s only pain’ – but it was real pain, wow!
Unfortunately, Robbo could deal with the pain but only the rest of his body couldn’t because he couldn’t really activate the muscle anymore, some nerve hit or whatever. They should be fine [for Sunday].
Robertson has been a key player in Liverpool’s defence this season, with the Scotsman registering 13 assists in all competitions.

England midfielder Jordan Henderson also sustained a knock during the 4-0 victory at Anfield, however, it seems as though he will be available to command the midfield against Wolves.
Klopp also confirmed that Firmino is unavailable for the weekend, meaning he may have to field Divock Origi instead, who scored a brace against Barcelona on Tuesday.
Bobby not [available] for the weekend, but we have time [before the Champions League final] and that should be enough.
Mo looked good around the celebrations after the game, to be honest! The day before yesterday and yesterday he was running outside and will be part of training today.
Liverpool must collect all three points against Wolves if they are to stand any chance of securing the Premier League title, as long as rivals Manchester City fail to do the same against Brighton.
Klopp’s men are within touching distance of a double after they secured a place in the Champions League final, where they will face Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid.
