Jurgen Klopp was coy when discussing Liverpool’s possible plans to sign a left-back this summer.
Speaking to reporters following his team’s 3-1 friendly win against Bradford City on Sunday afternoon, the German was quizzed about whether or not the Reds would be dipping into the transfer market in the near future.
Liverpool have not yet made a signing, with their first match of the upcoming season coming on August 4 against Manchester City in the final of the Community Shield.
The Reds could pursue a deal for a new left-back, with Alberto Moreno having joined Villarreal on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Anfield this summer.

Andy Robertson is set to remain the club’s starting player in this position ahead of the new season, but beyond the Scotsman, there is little depth.
Promising duo Adam Lewis and Yasser Larouci have played 45 minutes apiece in the pre-season fixtures against Tranmere Rovers and Bradford, however.
In response to questions about the possibility of signing another left-back, Klopp was coy when discussing the matter.
As quoted by Sky Sports, the Liverpool manager said:
We will see. It’s not a yes, not a no. I have said already we have to think about everything and at the end maybe we do nothing.
I can imagine we have a look at all the things around us. Of course, we lost a left-back, but today we saw two pretty young ones, and James [Milner] played it. We will see.
