Jurgen Klopp delivered some positive news ahead of Saturday’s highly-anticipated Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur, with Liverpool man Roberto Firmino fit to play, as reported by Sky Sports.
The manager, who addressed the media ahead of his second European final with the Reds in as many seasons, spoke about the Brazilian’s condition. He said:
He is ready. I’m not going to tell you the full line-up, but he is fit, he has been training, he should be fine.
Despite Divock Origi’s fine form and important goals of late, Firmino is expected to start.

The ex-Hoffenheim man has proved pivotal to Liverpool’s success in recent years. He has provided four goals and chipped in with one assist in seven matches in the Champions League this term.
Firmino sustained the ankle injury back in February during Liverpool’s 0-0 draw against Manchester United and was replaced inside 31 minutes by Daniel Sturridge.
The Brazil international was expected to return sooner, but his knock was worse than what was first thought.
Klopp, however, ensures he is now 100 per cent fit as they gear up for the final on Saturday.
