Jurgen Klopp has been nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award for December, according to Standard Sport.
The Reds played seven matches in the Premier League in December, winning four, drawing three and remaining unbeaten throughout.
During this run, Liverpool had impressive wins such as the 5-1 win in Brighton, 4-0 at Bournemouth and 5-0 at home to Swansea.
The only non-Premier League game played in the festive month was the 7-0 home win against Spartak Moscow, cementing Liverpool’s place in the last 16 of the Champions League to face Porto.
The German manager has won the award once before, in September 2016, where the Reds played three games, beating Leicester 4-1, Chelsea away 2-1 and Hull City 5-1.

The other nominees for the award are Sam Allardyce, Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola, Roy Hodgson and Mauricio Pochettino.
Conte, whose side have lost just one in seven this month, same as Pochettino’s Tottenham, cemented their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League, along with Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester City, whose run of wins ended in December at Crystal Palace.
Palace, managed by former Reds boss Roy Hodgson, lost just one game in the whole month, guiding them to 14th in the table. Hodgson was also the only manager nominated to not have a European game to play during December.
Allardyce has won three times during December, drawing three and losing one, seeing the Toffees rise to the top half of the table ahead of the FA Cup Merseyside Derby.
