Liverpool’s interest in Manuel Lanzini is all but over according to sources at football.london.

The Reds have shown an interest in the Argentinian playmaker for the last three transfer windows, but Lanzini’s lucrative new deal with West Ham appears to have confirmed his future with the Hammers.
Lanzini signed a £100,000-a-week deal back in August, keeping him at the London Stadium until June 30 2023, which has been a deterrent for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Liverpool first developed an interest in the forward as an alternative to Nabil Fekir in the summer of 2018, however a serious injury to Lanzini halted any moves that window.

Although Lanzini has shown himself to be a top level Premier League footballer in glimpses during his time in East London, consistency has been one of his shortcomings.
This could be attributed to some of the injuries he has sustained since his arrival, which have hindered his progress in the first team.
He has unquestionable talent which Jurgen Klopp could have looked to develop if he was to join, but staying fit would be the key factor.
The possible transfer could have been likened to the arrival of Shaqiri, a player with bags of talent, but one that struggled to maintain a spot in the first XI.
Lanzini would be a good addition for any side, but this news shouldn’t worry Liverpool fans too much.
