With just two weeks left of the transfer window, Liverpool will now spend the next fourteen days trimming their squad down with many players set to exit the club.
One of the players heading for the exit is striker Danny Ings, with a whole host of club interested in the Englishman’s services.
According to the Leicester Mercury, Claude Puel, Leicester manager, is extremely interested in Ings and is planning a £20 million bid. The Foxes are not the only ones keen on bringing in Ings with Southampton, Newcastle and Crystal Palace all vying for his signature.
Jurgen Klopp was keen to keep Ings around but the 26-year-old wanted first team assurances, something Klopp could not guarantee him. Ings’ time at Anfield has been disrupted by two season-ending knee injuries and he could never regain the starting place that he had lost.

The Anfield exodus is set to speed up with Divock Origi and Sheyi Ojo likely departures.
Origi, valued at £27 million, is wanted by Valencia and Ojo is said to be considering West Brom and Nottingham Forest’s interest.
Youngster Pedro Chirivella has recently been linked to Nottingham Forest and Swansea City. An asking price has been set at £5 million for the Spaniard.
