Young midfielder Leighton Clarkson has reportedly agreed a three-year professional deal with Liverpool, according to Football Insider.
The report suggests that the teenager, who is regarded as a future first-team prospect, has finalised all the paperwork over a first professional deal.

The 17-year-old played a key role in the Reds’ FA Youth Cup triumph last season, defeating rivals Manchester City on penalties at City’s Academy Stadium.
Clarkson has been a regular in the Reds’ Under 18’s and 19’s in recent years, with Liverpool officials clearly happy with what they see.
The midfielder, who can play in a central attacking role or further back in a ball-playing midfield role, has an impressive range of passing and created seven assists for the Reds’ Under 18 side.
Clarkson also found the back of the net four times himself and could well be loaned out by the club in a bid to ease the youngster into senior football.
Many Reds youngsters have been let go by the club in recent months, however, Liverpool seemingly have high hopes for Clarkson.
