Liverpool have agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich star Thiago Alcantara, according to a report from German outlet BILD.
The Reds, however, are yet to agree a transfer fee with Bayern as the two clubs are still a fair way apart in their valuations of the 29-year-old.
Bayern are, according to BILD, asking for £36m for the Spanish international, whilst Liverpool are only willing to spend around £23m for him.
BILD day that Jurgen Klopp has personally approved the signing and that the deal is now in the hands of Michael Edwards and his recruitment team.

The Thiago rumours and stories are not going away, so there may well be some fire behind the smoke.
In truth, midfield is one area where Liverpool are strong and have plenty of depth, but Thiago is a world-class player and as such, plenty of fans will be excited about his potential arrival.
Whether a deal gets done remains to be seen, but it does look like Thiago wants the move, it just depends how much the Reds are willing and able, to spend to get a deal over the line.
