Liverpool are interested in signing Lazio forward Joaquin Correa, according to reports coming out of Italy.
Correa, who has recently forced his way back into the Argentinian set-up alongside the likes of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero after a two-year absence, has been in good form for Lazio and that form has seemingly caught the eye of the Reds.
The 25-year-old has eight goals and four assists in 27 appearances for Lazio so far this season and his career looks to be back on track after he endured a rather difficult spell in Spain with Sevilla.
Lazio have apparently got their sights set on moves for both Mario Goetze and Keita Balde Diao as potential replacements for the Argentinian star, who has a £72m release clause, but who could be available for around £52m.

In terms of suitability to Liverpool, Correa certainly ticks some of the boxes. His versatility allows him to play either centrally or on the wing, and his goalscoring record is certainly a positive.
He also has pace to burn and as we’ve seen with the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, Jurgen Klopp loves his wide players to possess blistering speed.
