It’s no secret that Liverpool, after their heartbreak in the Champions League final, are in search of a new keeper and according to Globo Esporte, they have directly contacted Alisson’s agents with a potential deal.
However, the 25-year-old AS Roma keeper, who is currently in Russia with the Brazil squad for the World Cup, is still waiting to hear from Real Madrid.
Real have been keeping a close eye on the talented Brazilian shot stopper, but Zinedine Zidane’s unexpected resignation may have delayed more thorough talks from happening.

Julen Lopetegui, who up until a few days ago was preparing his native Spain for their opening game of the World Cup against Portugal on Friday evening, has been confirmed as Real’s new manager. It’s believed that he is also interested in bringing Alisson to the Bernabeu and that negotiations will commence again in a couple of weeks.
Therefore, since Roma still don’t have a tangible bid for their sought-after keeper, Liverpool are supposedly doing their utmost to convince him to move to Merseyside.
However, Alisson has asked his agents not to distract him with club football at the moment as he is busy preparing himself for his World Cup debut against Switzerland on Sunday.
