Liverpool could seal a stunning Deadline Day deal for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to a report from Sport.
The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona but they’ve agreed a deal to sign Frankie De Jong in the summer, which has raised doubts about where Rabiot’s future lies.
What is certain is that the French international will leave PSG as he’s refused to sign a new contract, but exactly when he leaves remains to be seen.
According to Sport, PSG have made it known that they’d like to sell the 23-year-old today in order to get a fee for him and as such, both Liverpool and Tottenham have been in contact about a Deadline Day deal.
However, the player himself is in no rush to leave and is happy to keep his options open, even if that means spending the rest of the current season on the sidelines in Paris.
