Liverpool could use Napoli’s interest in Alberto Moreno to negotiate a deal for left-back Faouzi Ghoulam, according to the Mail.
The Reds have reportedly rejected an £11million bid from the Italian club for the Spaniard, who has also attracted interest from both Milan clubs.
Jurgen Klopp is, though, in the market for a new left-back after fielding James Milner in the role last season as Moreno fell out of favour.
Ghoulam, Napoli’s current left-back, is a potential option after an impressive 2016/17 campaign, and the offer for Moreno has opened the door.

The Algerian contributed 10 assists in 38 appearances last term as Napoli finished third in Serie A and has attracted interest from across the continent, with PSG also monitoring his situation.
A swap deal could be on the cards, though Liverpool may also have to offer some cash to persuade Napoli to part with the 26-year old. The Reds have asked about his availability but time will tell if either side are willing to do a player-plus-class swap deal.
Moreno is fully expected to depart the club if the £15million asking price is met and, along with Ghoulam, Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon and Monaco star Benjamin Mendy have been identified as possible replacements.
