Liverpool are ready to battle AC Milan for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to reports.
The 24-year old Portugal international has scored 11 goals in 21 Liga NOS games this season, subsequently attracting a number of clubs to his availability.
According to Calciomercato, the Reds will face competition from the Rossoneri for his signature, with Milan looking to bring the former Sampdoria man back to the Italian Serie A.

Sporting however aren’t keen on selling the midfielder and would like to extend his contract with the club, setting his release clause at €100million.
Fernandes has taken a leadership role at Sporting since Nani’s departure in January, being named captain of the Portuguese outfit, and the club are unlikely to let their man go easily.
