A number of Liverpool fans have revealed their concern after Fabinho was absent from Wednesday’s training session.
The Reds are preparing for their trip to bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United on Sunday evening, in what represents a must-win game for the Premier League champions.
Liverpool have now lost four matches in a row in the competition, with their 2-0 win over RB Leipzig the only crumb of comfort in recent weeks.
The Reds’ injuries continue to mount up, however, with Jordan Henderson now joining the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip on the treatment table.
Fabinho has also been out since the 4-1 defeat to Manchester City and it looks as though he is still a doubt for this weekend’s game.
The Brazilian was nowhere to be seen in training on Wednesday, meaning Ben Davies could even make his Liverpool debut alongside Ozan Kabak in defence.
