A number of Liverpool fans have been left fuming with Roberto Firmino, after he seemingly liked a photo of Richarlison celebrating at Anfield over the weekend.
The Brazilian is having a season to forget for the Reds, with his form a far cry from what it once was. He has only scored once in his last 14 Liverpool appearances, but more worryingly, his touch, creativity and off-the-ball work have largely deserted him, too.
The 29-year-old was poor once again on Saturday night, as Jurgen Klopp’s men 2-0 at home to Everton in the Premier League.
It was Richarlison, Firmino’s Brazil teammate, who opened the scoring, as the Blues finally won at Anfield for the first time since 1999.
The Blues striker posted a photo on Instagram of him celebrating his goal on Saturday and an image shared on social media suggests Firmino bizarrely liked it.
We have Firmino out here liking Richarlisons post of our loss and Alisson hugging Pickford as if nothings happened. My blood is boiling. pic.twitter.com/foy6HCHMMg

These Liverpool fans have been reacting to the Liverpool superstar’s antics, claiming he is badly in the wrong.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I don't think I am.

When Firmino sees that picture of Richarlison celebrating at Anfield after defeating Liverpool at Anfield for the first time in 22 years, he should feel pain. I don't care about them being teammates/friends. It's not on.

I don't even care, no one can defend Roberto Firmino liking that Richarlison post.
