Liverpool Fans Go Crazy Over Harvey Elliott Wonder Goal

On-loan Liverpool winger Harvey Elliott scored a wonder goal during Wednesday night’s Championship action for Blackburn Rovers, where the 17-year-old is spending the season.

Returning from an injury layoff in keeping with his Liverpool connection, Elliott opened the scoring against Millwall in spectacular fashion at Ewood Park and left many Reds fans in awe of the youngster.

Signed by Liverpool from Fulham in 2019 initially on a free – the club were ultimately made to pay compensation – Elliott has had a taste of first team action under Jurgen Klopp and has shown off his impressive talents already.

Still a teenager and with game-time far from a formality at Anfield – especially with the arrival of Diogo Jota – the England under-17 international headed to Blackburn this summer and has since made a huge impact at the Lancashire club.

Previously described by Klopp as an ‘exceptional talent’ – and he has seen a few – the teenager looks to have a very bright future ahead of him.

Here’s how Liverpool fans reacted to the strike, with illustrious names like Lionel Messi and Mohamed Salah bandied about in comparison…

matchday.
