Liverpool fans react to a late winner against Crystal Palace

Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 2-1 at Selhurst Park in a dramatic and gritty performance on Saturday.

In the first half, Liverpool were very sloppy and that was one of or if not, the worst 45 minutes this season for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Crystal Palace thought they took the lead just before half time, however VAR ruled it out for a foul on Dejan Lovren.

In the second half, the current European champions stepped it up a gear, and the in-form Sadio Mane broke the deadlock. Wilfred Zaha equalised in the 82nd minute but the mentality monsters found a way and Roberto Firmino gave the reds a hard fought 3 points.

Liverpool fans expressed their delight on social media, and here is what they had to say.

READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT:

I am honestly starting to run out of words for this extraordinary Liverpool side.

The performance as a whole was poor and sloppy. However, The Reds showed grit, determination and back bone.

This ‘never say die’ attiude is starting to really show this season, and if Liverpool do win the league, games like Crystal Palace and Aston Villa is the reason why they will be crowned champions.
