Liverpool have not held talks with Chelsea over a transfer for starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi, despite German outlets suggesting otherwise.
According to The Standard, it was reported in Germany that Jurgen Klopp’s side had made an audacious move to lure the wantaway teenager to Merseyside.
Hudson-Odoi has been surrounded by speculation in recent weeks, with a preferred move to Bayern Munich still on the cards.
Chelsea have been doing everything in their power to try and tempt the winger to remain at Stamford Bridge, but the 18-year-old is certain he wants to leave for more first-team opportunities and is reportedly willing to reject a staggering new deal which would make him one of the world’s highest-paid teenagers.
Hudson-Odoi has played just 61 minutes of Premier League football this season and sees a move to the Bundesliga as more beneficial.
However a move to Premier League leaders Liverpool could have turned his head, but it looks like his mind is made up on where he wants to go.
