Liverpool are interested in signing Real Madrid youngster Vinicius Jr this summer, according to Okdiario.
The Reds may look to bring in attacking reinforcements at the end of the season and the Brazilian forward has emerged as a target.
It is claimed that Madrid could allow Vinicius to leave in the summer, having made just nine starts in La Liga this season, although a buyback clause may be included.
That could then allow them to bring in Kylian Mbappe, however, which would be a blow for Liverpool, having been linked with him in the recent past.
Klopp is believed to be pushing for Vinicius, though, with the 20-year-old someone he believes can be a strong addition.

Vinicius is a tricky player to gauge, with his potential huge but his time in Madrid fairly uninspiring.
Given his age, Klopp may feel the Brazilian is someone he can turn into a superstar, as has been the case with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
Liverpool’s attacking heroes both turn 29 this year, however, so long-term replacements need to be brought in at some point.
With Diogo Jota seemingly one of those, Vinicius could be the other, providing pace and tricky in wide areas.
He is still raw, however, and wouldn’t be a sure-fire thing in the way a more established and polished player like Mbappe would.
