Liverpool lay out plans for new Kop bar

Liverpool have today submitted new plans to the Liverpool City Council to change the current retail store which is currently in the Kop into a fan’s bar, as reported by the official Liverpool website.

This would allow up to 700 Reds supporters to enjoy the content of live music and football on the big screens prior to a game at Anfield, which could help to engage more supporters ahead of the match.

The proposed move would be in operation four hours before a match starts and would allow for fans to get into the spirit ahead of the game the game. It would be open for any fans visiting Anfield on the day.

Also, it would help to further the opportunities which are on offer at the club prior to kick off, with the potential of an improved atmosphere before and during the game.

The decision is expected to be made by the Liverpool City Council by April 2018.
