Liverpool have been heavily linked with signing American winger Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund, but a former Reds defender believes that he will not be seen in a Liverpool shirt, as per Liverpool Echo.
Steve Nicol, who is now a pundit and commentator for ESPN, has said that Pulisic is likely to remain in Dortmund, here he is performing excellently.
Dortmund have not lost in the Bundesliga since early December and currently sit second, albeit a huge 19 points off rivals and runaway leaders Bayern Munich.
Pulisic has been excellent for Dortmund this season, being ever present apart from an injury which he is still recovering from, but still playing a part as mainly a substitute at the moment.

Nicol played for Liverpool for 13 years, winning four titles, three FA Cups, a Charity Shield, a Super Cup and a European Cup.
In a recent interview, he said (via Liverpool Echo):
Any of the top sides in the world would want Pulisic right now, in their squad if not in their starting XI.
I think he has made it very clear that, for now, he knows Dortmund is the place for him. That is the place he will progress the best.
I don’t see him going anywhere.
So Pulisic is happy in Germany, even with the interest from Liverpool. The transfer window is five months away. It’s possible for anybody’s mind to change in that time, but Nicol does not believe Pulisic will be in red anytime soon.
