Liverpool are reportedly planning to rival Manchester United in their pursuit of Brazilian playmaker Anderson Talisca.
According to claims from Turkish news outlet Fanatik, as cited in a report from talkSPORT, the Reds are the latest team to join the race to land the on-loan Besiktas star.
Talisca is in the form of his life at the moment and has been one of Besiktas’ star players this season. This has evidently caught the eye of many, with Liverpool touted as a potential destination for the 24-year-old.

The creative midfielder is deep into the second year of his loan spell in Turkey, with the player still on Benfica’s books. Manchester United have long been linked with Talisca but they may well face competition from Liverpool this summer if Fanatik are to be believed.
Besiktas will undoubtedly be desperate to recruit Talisca on a permanent basis but given the volume of interest in the versatile midfielder, it’d come as no surprise to see him join a top European club this summer.
