Liverpool have been linked with a summer move to sign Ismaila Sarr from Rennes.
The Reds appear to be intent on strengthening their attacking options, and according to a report from Italian news outlet Calciomercato, the winger is among their transfer targets.
Sarr, who is an international teammate of Liverpool star Sadio Mane, has long been tipped for big things following his exciting displays in Ligue 1 for both Metz and Rennes.
The Senegalese attacker has made 31 appearances in Ligue 1 this season and has been in productive form. He has scored five goals and created another eight for his teammates.
Liverpool are stocked with options in the final third of the pitch but could be keen to add further depth to the ranks as they push for another strong season next term.
Sarr is contracted to Rennes until the summer of 2021, and interest could gather ahead of the summer transfer window as the 21-year-old continues to emerge as an exciting young talent.
