Brendan Rodgers is confident in bringing Divock Origi back from a loan at Lille for an increased price in January, reports James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo.
The price is rumoured to be £5m extra on top of the price that has already been paid by the Reds to bring the Belgian international to Anfield.
The 19-year-old has scored 3 goals in 19 appearances for the French league side this season but Brendan Rodgers will be hoping he can come straight into the Liverpool team and restart his goalscoring form.
The teenager, who looked lively in the World Cup for Belgium, will come in before Daniel Sturridge returns to the Liverpool starting line-up and with new signing Rickie Lambert also struggling for goals and Fabio Borini unfavoured by the management, will become the central attacking force alongside the likes of Raheem Sterling.
More to come…
Would you be happy to see Liverpool pay more money to see Origi in a red shirt this month? Or are they barking up the wrong tree with a teenager?
