Liverpool have made a 12 million pound bid for Udinese’s Polish midfielder, Piotr Zielinski, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via the Telegraph.
The 21-year-old has been playing on loan at Empoli since January and has impressed in his short spell with the Italian side and it is said that Liverpool have already scouted the player a few times this season.

Zielinski confirmed that Klopp had made his interest in him clear last month, saying;
There is a lot of truth in rumours about Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp is interested in me, we had some talks.
He added that Liverpool had been in contact with the player over a potential deal that would bring him to Anfield in the summer, making him Jurgen Klopp’s fourth signing.
It is expected that Liverpool will be extremely active in the summer as Klopp looks to strengthen the side and rid of those players he does not have plans for.

Currently, Klopp has brought Joel Matip from Schalke and Marko Grujic from Red Star Belgrade. Emergency signing, Steve Caulker, is expected to return to his parent club, QPR.
