Liverpool have made an enquiry to Wolverhampton Wanderers about a summer switch for winger Adama Traore, according to a report from The Mirror.
Last month, Spanish outlet Todofichajes claimed that Jurgen Klopp had already called the 24-year-old about the possibility of him making a move to the North West, and they said that the Reds were hopeful of agreeing a deal in the coming weeks.
The Mirror aren’t as bold with their report, claiming that a combination of Liverpool’s potential financial issues and Wolves’ desire to keep the Spaniard could make any potential deal tricky to complete.

If Liverpool are looking for a quick player to add to their squad to ease the burden on the speed-twins Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, then Traore could be the man to go for.
The Spaniard has pace to burn and as Robertson found out earlier this season, he has started to add an end product to his sometimes erratic performances.
Whether Wolves would be willing to sell Traore is something that only they’ll know at this time, whilst there’s no guarantee that Liverpool will have much money to spend this summer due to the ongoing global health crisis.
Traore would be, in our opinion, a more than useful addition to the Liverpool squad but there seem to be more than a few pretty big hurdles in the way of any potential deal.
