Liverpool are reportedly about to test RB Leipzig’s resolve and bid for Naby Keita, with the midfielder keen on a move to Anfield.
The Daily Mail have said that Liverpool are preparing a bid believed to be around £70million, although Leipzig have continued to reiterate that Keita is not for sale at any price. However, confidence on Liverpool’s behalf is growing by the day.
Keita bagged himself eight goals and eight assists last season as RB Leipzig finished 2nd in the Bundesliga.
The enigmatic midfielder has only spent one season with Leipzig but is already keen to test himself in the Premier League, with Liverpool the clear front runners for his signature.
If a deal is struck with Leipzig for Keita, he will join up with two new summer signings, with Liverpool having already bagged Dominic Solanke from Chelsea and Mohamed Salah for a club-record fee from Roma in recent weeks.
