Liverpool are the latest team to express their interest in 25-year-old Benjamin Bourigeaud, according to reports from Estadio Deportivo, as cited on the Express.
Reports have claimed that five out of the Premier League’s top six sides are interested in the attacking-midfielder, excluding Manchester City.
Bourigeaud is currently playing for Rennes in France and last season he scored six times and registered five assists for his team-mates, which explains why Liverpool and other big teams are after him.
Jurgen Klopp will also face competition from other European sides, including Sevilla and Juventus who are said to be also monitoring his situation closely.
Klopp had previously claimed that he was not going to be spending big during this transfer window but recently announced that he will have to in order to compete with other big teams around them.
The highly sought after player is being priced at £18 million, which could be considered as relatively cheap in the modern market.
