Liverpool won’t find it easy to sign new goalkeepers in the summer

Liverpool’s goalkeeping position has been a problem for a while now and it is something which they are going to need to address if they want to challenge domestically, but it now seems as though they will face a battle to sign the two players who they want to bring to the club, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

The two keepers who have been discussed as possible options for the Reds are Roma’s Alisson and Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak but the former has been attracting interest from French giants PSG

It’s looking difficult for Liverpool to make a move for the Roma stopper, whilst the Oblak would also be tough to prize away from the Spanish club as they hope to get him tied down on a new deal with a huge €200m release clause. If he does put pen-to-paper on a new contract, that would surely end Liverpool’s chances of getting him.
