AC Milan are still pushing to complete a deal for Dejan Lovren, but want Liverpool to lower their asking price.
According to claims from Italian news outlet Tuttosport, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, the Serie A giants are not giving up in their pursuit of the Reds man.
Lovren missed swathes of last season with injury troubles, and speculation has since surrounded his future at Anfield.

However, it has recently been reported that Liverpool want to keep hold of the Croatia international for next season as Jurgen Klopp bids to maintain competition within his first-team squad.
The Reds’ preference to retain Lovren’s services does not appear to have fended off Milan, though, and he is believed to be the top defensive target for the Rossoneri.
Liverpool boss Klopp has Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Joe Gomez at his disposal already in the central defensive berths, but it seems he is reluctant to sanction the departure of the former Southampton star.
