Mo Salah backed to become Premier League centurion

Mohamed Salah has taken the Premier League by storm, having netted 21 goals so far this season and e has been backed by fellow Egyptian, and former Premier League striker, Mido to become a top-flight centurion, as reported by Goal.

Mido has backed his compatriot to complete and reach 100 Premier League goals, such is his talent.

In his total Premier League career, Salah has now reached 23 goals in the competition, which includes a couple of goals that he scored during his time at Chelsea. That means he’s overtaken Mido as the league’s most prolific Egyptian player.

Salah has been Liverpool’s Player of the Season by a long way this campaign and Mido feels that he could well hit the 100 mark at the Reds if he stays at the club for a few seasons.

He said:

I felt proud after Salah reached my number of goals, and I think he can reach 100 goals easily.
