Khabib Nurmagomedov is Mohamed Salah’s latest high profile fan.
The UFC lightweight champion has praised the Egyptian for his humility, raising Salah high for the modesty shown when achieving such greatness.
Despite scoring 51 goals in 66 games, the 26-year-old Salah has always proved to be a distinctly meek figure, avoiding cockiness at all times.
Catching the eye of many, Nurmagomedov has also been impressed with Salah’s unpresuming nature.

Quoted by the Liverpool Echo, the Dagestani said:
I never met him before but I follow him, he is a great player and we need more people like him to reflect our ethics and present us properly to the rest of the world.
He made a name of himself because he is disciplined. I feel that Allah is by his side. The new generations need those who are like Mohamed Salah to learn more about how you can be modest, no matter how famous and innovative you are.
Nurmagomedov successfully defended his lightweight title against Conor McGregor in October, but the conversation seemed to focus around the events after the fight.
Leaping the cage, a brawl ensued between the two fighters’ camps after McGregor had tapped out of the bout in the fourth round.
Maybe Nurmagomedov is learning from Mo Salah!
