Despite a number of players already departing the club, it looks as though another player could leave today.

According to The Athletic’s James Pearce, Phillips could still leave today with plenty of interest in the 24-year-old.

Last season saw some incredible performances from the defender when the Reds needed him most.
Following a number of injuries to Liverpool’s defensive options, Phillips filled the void well.
Now, it appears as though those impressive performances have led to him departing the club if the right offer comes in.
According to Pearce, the club are not interested in any loan deals and are seeking a permanent deal for the player.
Currently, the club value the centre-back at £12million, a fine fee given his lack of experience at the top level.
Again, we are seeing another player potentially leave the club without any new arrivals.
If Liverpool does eventually look to complete any new signings then they’re certainly leaving it late.
However, it is looking increasingly unlikely that the club will bring any new faces to Anfield today.
