Philippe Coutinho keen on two-year Liverpool loan deal

Philippe Coutinho is reportedly keen on rejoining Liverpool, with the Reds planning a two-year loan deal for the Brazilian.

According to Calciomercato, Liverpool will make a 24-month loan offer for the player, which would then give the Reds the option to sign the player permanently for £88 million.

The report goes on to state that the proposed offer doesn’t appeal to Barcelona, who are looking to make immediate financial gain from Coutinho’s departure to fund a move for former star Neymar.

Coutinho made the move from Merseyside to the Nou Camp just 18 months ago, however, the 27-year-old has struggled to make the impact many expected with the Spanish giants.

The Brazilian playmaker recently helped his country to Copa America glory and is expected to leave his domestic side ahead of the new season.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen on making a marquee signing this summer if the conditions are right, so a two-year loan deal for the former Reds favourite could be one that appeals to the German.
