Former Premier League defender Lee Dixon has been waxing lyrical over Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliott.
The 18-year-old has recently returned from a serious ankle dislocation and has already made an impression on Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Despite missing five months in mid-season, the attacking midfielder looks determined to influence the end of the campaign as the Reds go in search of more trophies.
Speaking during the ITV coverage of Liverpool’s 3-1 FA Cup victory over Norwich City, Dixon was full of praise for Elliott after the ace replaced Curtis Hones at half-time.
Curtis Jones was already Man of the Match for me, he was superb. But this is Harvey Elliott. What a talent. What a future.
Elliott’s 45-minute cameo earned a 7.30 Sofascore rating as the teenager created one big chance, completed one dribble and had 55 touches.

What a future indeed.
The £13.5million valued star is already having an impact on the big stage and Klopp knows just how precious the England youth international is.
With plenty of big games to come this season, it wouldn’t be at all surprising should Elliott have at least one huge moment between now and May.
