Yarouba Cissako is the latest player to be linked with a move to Anfield. The 20-year-old right back has played youth football for France, but is also eligible to play for Senegal.
Cissako plays for AS Monaco, but spent last season on loan with Belgian side Zulte-Waregem.
A report in French publication L’Equipe says that Monaco want to offer the full-back a new deal as his current contract runs out in 2016, but they also say that Liverpool are interested in signing him.
The report also says that Merseyside rivals Everton and German side Borussia Dortmund are keen on Cissako.
It’s no secret that Liverpool are in the market for at least one, maybe two, right-backs as Glen Johnson has left the club and Jon Flanagan has suffered another setback on his path back from injury.
The Reds recently had a bid for England international Nathaniel Clyne rejected by Southampton, and have been linked with numerous other full-backs this summer.
