Long-term Liverpool target Adrien Rabiot is reportedly looking to join Real Madrid this summer.
The Reds had long been linked with a swoop for the Paris Saint-Germain star, who will be available on a free transfer in the upcoming window as his contract with the Ligue 1 giants is expiring.
However, recent reports indicated that Zinedine Zidane, now back at Real Madrid after tendering his resignation at the end of last season, is keen to link up with his compatriot at the Bernabeu Stadium ahead of next season.

Rabiot has not featured for his team since December, and the chances of him extending his stay in Paris appear to be all but gone.
Speculation has since clouded his future, with a tug of war having been likely to ensue over his signature. However, according to Spanish outlet El Chiringuito, as cited by Calciomercato, he has decided on his next destination.
Liverpool are well stocked with options in the middle of the park, so whether or not they attempt to hijack Real’s move for Rabiot remains to be seen.
