Liverpool are set to go head-to-head with AC Milan for the signature of Wolfsburg defender Ricardo Rodriguez this summer.
The Mirror claim the Reds are prepared to swoop in and rival the Italian side for Rodriguez, who is expected to leave the Bundesliga this summer.

The Swiss international has a sweet left foot and caught the eye with his set piece deliveries and two assists at the 2014 World Cup, and was seemingly on the verge of a move to AC Milan.
Still only 24 years old, the wide man has so far contributed two goals and three assists in the Bundesliga this season, and after regularly being linked with moves away from Wolfsburg, Rodriguez now looks set for a new challenge.
In order to snare the talented Swiss though, the Reds will have to fork out a significant sum, with Wolfsburg holding out for around £18.5m. The left-back position is an area that Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to strengthen this summer.
