Andrew Robertson has praised the atmosphere at Anfield, claiming the fans could help swing the tide against Bayern Munich.
The Reds host the Bavarians at Anfield on Tuesday in their Champions League Round of 16 first-leg tie, and despite Bayern having struggled somewhat in the Bundesliga this season, they’re still expected to be a formidable foe to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
However, Robertson believes that the atmosphere on Merseyside will help inspire last year’s finalists to victory against the German giants.

Speaking ahead of the huge tie, as quoted by The Liverpool Offside, Robertson had this to say:
Everyone knows how special nights here are in the Champions League.
We feed off each other. Players feed off the fans and the fans feed off the players because it’s up to us to get them to have something to shout about.
But it also helps when they’re getting behind us and it can maybe give you that extra percentage or whatever in the game. That’s what home fans are for.
I think that’s what all good teams do. We had a good run last season. And especially in the Champions League I think it helped massively.
Every club’s got it and it’s all about making the most of it.
