Tottenham Hotspur have entered talks over a deal for Sporting CP man Bruno Fernandes, who has been linked with Liverpool in recent months.
Recent claims indicated that the midfielder would be heading to Manchester United. However, this could all change if Spurs accelerate their pursuit for the Sporting ace.
According to Sky Sports, Tottenham representatives met with the Portuguese giants on Thursday to discuss a deal.

The playmaker had a brilliant campaign last season, scoring 20 goals and contributing 13 assists in Liga NOS fixtures from midfield.
It was reported by Correio de Manha last month that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was “looking for an opportunity” to sign Fernandes.
With eight days to go until the transfer window closes, Klopp has played down any first-team potential signings.
However, as the new Premier League season begins to draw ever closer, it seems the Reds may need to act quickly if they are to steal a march and secure Fernandes ahead of Spurs.
